Welcome to BibleOS! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BibleOS platform (“the App”), which allows users to create, share, and interact with articles and comment on other users’ articles.
By using BibleOS, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use BibleOS.
- By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and are capable of entering into a binding agreement.
2. Account Registration
- To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must not share your account with others or use another user’s account without their permission.
3. User-Generated Content
BibleOS allows you to create, upload, and share content such as articles and comments (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you agree to the following:
- Ownership: You retain ownership of your User Content but grant BibleOS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and operate your content within the App and make it available to other users as part of the service.
- Prohibited Content: You must not post any content that:
- Violates any laws or regulations.
- Contains offensive, abusive, or discriminatory language.
- Includes spam, advertisements, or fraudulent content.
- Violates intellectual property rights of others.
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the User Content you post. BibleOS does not endorse any User Content and reserves the right to remove or restrict access to content at its discretion.
4. Features and Interaction
Articles
- You can create and share articles. By uploading an article, you confirm that it is your original work or that you have permission to share it.
- Other users may comment on your articles. You can moderate comments on your own articles by reporting inappropriate content by notifying us at info@bibleos.net.
Comments
- When commenting on articles, you must comply with the Prohibited Content rules outlined above.
- Comments are public and visible to all users of the App.
5. Prohibited Activities
When using BibleOS, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or otherwise compromise the App’s functionality.
- Collect or misuse other users’ personal information.
- Post content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
6. Privacy
Your use of BibleOS is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.
7. Termination
- BibleOS may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that negatively impacts other users or the App.
- You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@bibleos.net. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Force Majeure
BibleOS is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or service interruptions.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
- BibleOS is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App and are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from its use.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BibleOS will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold BibleOS harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the App or applicable laws. Any updates will be posted on this page, and significant changes will be communicated to you.
